At what age should pomeranians stop having sex/kids?
I have a 6 year old pomeranian, and just this afternoon she had the sudden urge to 'mate'. She was humping the bed spread, and then tried to get my other dog (a 1yr and a half yr old chihuahua) to lick her private part. My dog has NEVER had sex, nor ever experienced motherhood. I want my dog to have sex at least once, but I'm concerned that she may be too old, and if she gets pregnant, obviously action will take place, meaning I will pay for the medication, etc. I have tried getting her to mate with my cousin's neutered dog, but all she does is sniff his bottom and walk away.

She is WAY too old to have a first litter, too old to breed period. Get her spayed. You obviously have no idea what you are doing. If you have tried to mate her with a neutered dog, you really need to get her spayed now.
